Rakesh Puttreddy from the Department of Chemistry will give a talk entitled “The chemistry in everyday life and beyond”. The Chemical Society of Central Finland will host this interesting talk in Zoom.
Abstract: Non-specialists and non-chemists believe that chemicals are unnatural substances that belong only in beakers and laboratories. On the contrary, chemists have shown that chemistry is present everywhere and has helped to create our global civilization. This lecture discusses examples of chemistry in everyday life and real-world applications that have a direct connection to fundamental chemistry.
